Historically this region represents the cradle of civilization—history began here. With the discovery of oil and the new wealth it’s brought, this country has become increasingly important to world politics. Since 2001, dictatorial governments have been removed from power and international aid organizations have flooded in to help meet the basic needs of the people.
On this trip we’ll build friendships with nationals while we help them improve their English skills. If you are willing to give your time to make a lasting impact, we want you! Flexibility and respect for authority are essential qualities, especially for trips to this country. Because of the sensitive nature of work here, prior participation with us on a short-term mission trip or other qualifying trip is preferred. Please contact the team leader for more information. |
